People First. Community Always.

Jioushun’s greatest commitment is to the safety, growth, and wellbeing of our people — and to the communities shaped by the buildings we create.

1. Occupational Safety & Health

Our Safety Approach:

Certified Safety Management Qualified safety officers are stationed at all major project sites. Our occupational safety system is built on risk identification, hazard elimination, and continuous improvement.

Daily Safety Protocols

  • Mandatory toolbox talks and safety briefings before every shift
  • Regular site inspections and hazard reporting
  • Emergency evacuation drills conducted periodically

Smart Site Monitoring We integrate smart construction site management technology to enable real-time safety monitoring, access control, and environmental condition tracking.

Zero Major Accident Target Safety performance is tracked monthly and reviewed at the management level. Our goal is zero major incidents, and we analyze near-misses to prevent recurrence.

2. Talent Development

We invest in people who build Taiwan’s future. Jioushun provides structured development pathways for every employee, from site workers to project managers.

Training Programs:

  • New Hire Onboarding: Safety culture, quality standards, company values
  • Technical Skills: BIM (Building Information Modeling), smart construction tools
  • Project Management: Supervision, scheduling, cross-team coordination
  • Professional Licensing: Financial support for employees pursuing contractor and engineering certifications
3. Human Rights & Gender Equality

Jioushun upholds the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and Taiwan’s labor laws without exception.

Human Rights Policy Covers:

  • No child labor, no forced labor — zero tolerance
  • Freedom of association and collective bargaining rights respected
  • No discrimination on the basis of gender, age, ethnicity, disability, or religion
  • Equal pay for equal work — gender pay gap reviewed annually
  • Anti-harassment: confidential complaint channel available to all

Human Rights Due Diligence

We conduct human rights risk assessments covering our own operations and extend requirements to key suppliers through our Supplier Code of Conduct.

4. Community Engagement

Building is our business. But giving back is our mission.

Charitable Home Repairs

Jioushun donates the expertise and materials of our construction teams to repair homes for low-income families, elderly residents, and households that cannot afford necessary renovation work. We believe everyone deserves a safe and dignified home.

Student Scholarships

We award annual scholarships to students in financial need, with a focus on those pursuing studies in engineering, architecture, and construction-related fields — nurturing the next generation of builders.

Post-Disaster Reconstruction

When typhoons, earthquakes, or floods strike Taiwan, Jioushun responds. We deploy teams and resources to support emergency repairs and reconstruction in affected communities, because the communities where we build are also the communities we protect.

Urban Renewal Community Consultation

Urban renewal can be complex and unfamiliar for residents. We host community forums and seminars to explain the process, answer questions, and empower residents to make informed decisions about their neighborhoods and homes.

5.Supply Chain Social Responsibility

Our subcontractors and suppliers are bound by our Supplier Code of Conduct, which requires:

  • Compliance with Taiwan’s Labor Standards Act
  • Safe working conditions equivalent to Jioushun’s own standards
  • No use of child or forced labor
  • Transparent and ethical business practices
